Maryland comes out of their coma

Just got a secondary application and an interview invite to Maryland on February 2nd! I hadn't heard from them since my application was "complete" in August. Better late then never I guess.

Deposit Update

I just got back from a great Christmas vacation in Seattle and Whistler. In the last few weeks a lot has happened. I withdrew from NYU and Temple because they didn't seem interested in me this late in the game. I also chose to put down my deposit for Tufts and withdraw my acceptance to BU just before the deadline, so it looks like I'm heading to Boston for dental school unless I hear from VCU, UW or Columbia. Columbia will start its next round of acceptances the week after the 15th of January, so hopefully I can get off the waitlist. UW is actively filling their class by meeting every Thursday to discuss interviewees. They have about half of their class filled already and will slowly fill it by March. Finally, VCU doesn't send out another round of acceptances until mid-February. Time to play the waiting game... again.
